Lentil Pate

Ingredients Serves: 4-6 people

  • 200 g of dry red lentils
  • 600 ml of water
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 150 g carrots grated on a coarse grater
  • 2 tablespoons of curry
  • 100 ml of coconut milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander leaves
  • salt to taste

A method of preparing :30 minutes Preparation time - 50 min Cooking time

Boil the lentils in water until it is completely soft.

Fry the onion in oil until golden brown. Then add the carrots and fry together for about 8-10 minutes. Finally, add the curry.

Drain the lentils, add the onion, carrots, coconut milk, eggs, chili and coriander to it. Stir, season to taste with salt.

Line an oblong, small form with baking paper. Pour in the mass and beat.

Bake in the oven for about 50 minutes at 185 ℃.

Serve chilled.
