Cabbage with mushrooms and chickpeas
Ingredients Servings for: 6 people
- 80 dried mushrooms (porcini mushrooms, bay boletes)
- 2 onions, thickly diced
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 kg of white cabbage,cut into strips (0.5 cm)
- 3 Bay leaves
- 5 grains allspice
- 1 can of cooked chickpeas
- 2 teaspoons Smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons lovage
- 1 teaspoon Marjoram
- salt to taste pepper to taste

Pour hot water over the mushrooms, set aside for 2 hours. then drain and cut into thick strips. In a pot, fry the onion in oil, add the cabbage, mushrooms, bay leaves, allspice, add water and simmer for about 90 minutes. 30 minutes before the end of cooking, add the remaining spices and chickpeas. Finally, season to taste with salt and pepper.
