When the infusion has cooled down, rinse clean skin with it.

The substances contained in thyme also lower blood pressure and support cell regeneration, which helps to slow down the aging process. The use of thyme improves the work of the nervous system.

Thyme should not be used by pregnant women. When too much thyme oil enters the mother's body, premature uterine contractions may occur. Thyme can lower blood sugar. Thyme oil is considered toxic and therefore should not be taken internally. It includes, among others an essential oil called thymol. If consumed in excess, it leads to intoxication and even damage to the liver, kidneys and heart.
