How a man got to know The wonderful aroma of coffee - myths and legends
One of the most interesting stories about the creation of coffee tells about Sheikh Omar, a famous doctor who lived a rather sad and hermit life, but at the same time full of glory - after all, he helped many people in the treatment of difficult diseases. One morning, a true bird of paradise appeared in front of his window, and it sang so beautifully that Omar decided to capture it. He dreamed that he would regale him with his unique voice every day. Unfortunately, every time he tried to catch a bird, it ran away, and Omar's windows grew wild vines - previously unknown plants that turned out to have extraordinary properties. They have since become the favorite remedies of this exceptionally sensitive sheikh.
