Description

Honduras is one of the largest coffee exporters in Central America. This highland and mountainous country is located between the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. It abounds in dense jungle inaccessible to humans. The Santa Barbara region is a place that consistently wins the highest awards in competitions for the cup of excellence for its products. These victories developed even greater awareness among farmers. They believe that producing coffee that is clear and fresh is an art.

Coffee trees grow here in a clean, ecological environment, free from pests and harmful fungi. Therefore, such high-situated bushes are not subjected to treatments such as pesticide spraying. Honduran coffee is grown at high altitudes, which means that it matures more slowly, slowly absorbing the minerals and nutrients in the soil, which guarantees its intense and exceptionally distinctive flavor. It is the essence of power and rich flavor. Coffee with an intense aroma and fruity acidity. The flavored notes are molasses, walnut and cocoa. Perfect as a cup of dessert coffee. Medium body, elegant finish.

Coffee In Europe

Coffee began to approach Europe in the 15th century from Turkey. Then (in 1475) the first coffee shop in Constantinople (now Istanbul) was opened. It was a huge success, and similar establishments began to appear fairly quickly in other cities of the Islamic world. In 1580, a certain Prospero - a traveler from Padua for the first time in Europe described the great popularity of coffee and coffee houses in Turkey and other Muslim countries. However, it was necessary to wait several dozen more years for such premises to be built on the Old Continent.
One of the first coffee shops in Europe was founded in 1650 in Oxford by the Turkish Jew Jacob. Over the next decades, thousands of coffee shops were opened in the UK and coffee became very popular. Some of the coffee houses specialized in serving a specific group of customers, e.g. Jonathan's Coffee House was popular with stock brokers, and Edward Lloyd's Coffee House among merchants and ship owners.
