Description
Coffee Colombia Excelso Medellin
Colombia has been recognized by tasters as a producer of delicious coffee. It is the second largest producer of Arabica in the world - almost 2,700 million coffee trees grow here. The first records of the cultivation of this plant date back to 1730. The National Coffee Federation watches over the high quality of Colombian products.
Colombia Excelso is grown in the foothills of the Andes, its bushes on all sides are surrounded by banana trees, the shade of which has a positive effect on the grains. The whole process takes place here in the spirit of many years of tradition. Perfectly ripe beans are harvested by hand and then processed wet. This is a traditional method that affects the sensory profile of coffee. Excelso grains are large but slightly smaller than Supremo. They are classified by size, even though they may come from the same tree.
Colombia Excelso is a coffee that combines apparent contradictions - high caffeine content and captivating delicacy of taste. The subtle bitterness is intertwined with the cranberry acidity. This is where, in a medium-intensity body, dark chocolate and the freshness of blackcurrant meet. Let's add a bit of nuts and a tropical fruity note ... A cup of this coffee is an experience you must try.
