Bulgarian Gjuwecz goulash
Ingredients:
- lamb 600 grams
- Red Czubryca 3 tbsp
- Red pepper 2 pieces
- Carrots 2 pieces
- Parsley root 1 piece( or Parsnip)
- White onion 1 piece
- Potatoes 2 pieces
- Eggplant 1 piece
- Hot pepper 1 tbsp
- Olive oil 4 tbsp
- Salt and Black pepper to taste
Step by step preparation:
Step 1
Wash and dry the meat, and then dice it into 2x2 cm cubes. Sprinkle Red Czubric and mix.
Step 2
Cut all vegetables into cubes of the same size as the meat.
Step 3
In a pot in hot oil, fry the meat and successively added vegetables: onion, carrot, parsley, eggplant, pepper and potatoes. Sprinkle the whole with hot peppers and fry for a while together.
Step 4
Put the fried stew ingredients into a clay or glass vessel, pour 600 ml of water. Cover the dish and put it in a preheated oven to 190 degrees Celsius and stew for 1 hour. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve the ready stew with bread.
